Hi! I’m Cassidy, the owner of SkellyGhost Swing LLC.

In 2018, a simple question changed my life:

"Do you want to go country dancing or swing dancing?"

"What’s swing dancing?"

"Oh, like vintage dance."

"Yes, let’s try swing dancing."

That one choice sent me down a path I never expected. From my very first night, I was hooked. I kept going back week after week, dancing up to six nights a week. I took group classes, joined performance teams, and even met my husband through swing dancing. The dance floor became my creative outlet, my confidence booster, and my community.

There was just one problem — I had to drive 45 minutes to an hour for every dance. Yes, I know this sounds dramatic, and there are people who will gladly drive much farther just to have any dancing opportunity. But with such a big city, why was there no swing dancing in Glendale?

It was time to change that.

That’s why I started SkellyGhost Swing LLC — to bring the joy and energy of swing dancing to the Westside of the Valley and fill a missing gap in the greater Phoenix dance scene.

What We Do

Today, I teach, choreograph, DJ, and perform — but nothing beats a great night of social dancing. Through SkellyGhost Swing, I aim to:

Our Mission

SkellyGhost Swing exists to bring the joy and energy of swing dancing to the West Valley — sharing this vibrant art form with communities in Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, and beyond. Our goal is to create opportunities for people to dance, connect, and have fun while supporting local artists and creative expression. We believe in building a positive, inclusive community where everyone feels welcome — whether they’re brand new or seasoned dancers. By offering dance classes, performances, and team opportunities, we aim to make swing a fun, healthy, and safe hobby for anyone looking to move their body, lift their spirits, and be part of something joyful.

Westside Swing

I am one of the organizers for Westside Swing, a collaborative weekly dance event in Glendale where independent teachers and performers team up to share the joy of swing dancing. SkellyGhost Swing LLC is proud to host, teach, DJ, and perform as part of this team while supporting our fellow artists.
